How do I cancel / manage my membership?

You can cancel / manage your membership at any time by logging into your account via the SimplyBook system here.

Will I be reminded when my membership is due for renewal?

Yes, you will receive an automated email notifying you of your renewal approx. 2 days prior to renewal date. The email will come from Stone Rock Lodge <NO-REPLY@simplybook.me>  –  please check your inbox, folders and junk. However, it is always a good idea to make a note of your renewal date when purchasing a plan.

I took out a £1 first payment on offer, what is my renewal price?

If you took out our limited time deal of £1 for your first year your renewal price may differ depending on when you took this out. This plan was originally known as ‘Annual Membership’ however this has since been renamed to ‘Regular Community Member’. Anyone who took this out prior to the end of August 2025 will renew at £30. Anyone who took this out thereafter will renew at the new price of £20.

If you’d like to change the price you pay you can do this by cancelling your plan and resubscribing in order to setup a new recurring billing profile at the new price / different price depending on the tier you select. All of our plans can be found here.

I've forgotten my login details, how do I access my account?

Please use the ‘Remind Password’ link and enter the email address associated with your account to receive a link to reset your password. The email will come from Stone Rock Lodge <NO-REPLY@simplybook.me>  –  please check your inbox, folders and junk.

Booking & Policies

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made 72 hours before arrival to avoid charges if booked directly, if through a external site please see your booking policy.

Can I modify my reservation?

Modifications can be made by contacting us directly, subject to availability and terms.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and cash.

Do you have a loyalty program or rewards for repeat guests?

Yes, we have a Stone Rock Lodge rewards club, so for guests who book directly and stay with us they will receive special discounts and facilities.

General Hotel Information

Do you offer free Wi-Fi?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Are pets allowed?

We are pet-friendly, with a surcharge of £20 per pet per night. Maximum of 2 pets per room and subject to availability as we only have a handful of pet friendly rooms.

Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?

Yes, our property is accessible, we offer 2 ground floor rooms. If you require any additional information regarding individual  needs please call our team from 4pm every day.

Do you have an on-site restaurant or room service?

We have an award-winning pizzeria onsite which you can book directly through our website, open every day 4pm – 9pm.

Is breakfast included?

Yes, a continental breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking

Is parking available at the hotel?

Unfortunately we don’t have onsite parking due to being in the centre of Chepstow but we do have plenty of public car park options.

What are the parking options nearby?
  • Nelson Street car park (directly opposite us, 4 hour maximum stay – free from 6pm till 8am overnight
  • The Castle car park and The Drill Hall car park, both of these are less than a 5min walk from us and they are both long stays.
  • We are also a 5- 7minute walk from both the bus station and train station allowing you full access to all transportation options.
Is parking free?

Nelson Street car park is £3 for 4 hours (Short stay only).

The Castle car park is £7 for 24 hours.

The Drill Hall car park £2 for 24 hours or options up to 7 days stays.

Check-in & Check-out

What are your check-in times?

Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on weekdays, and from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Can I check in earlier or later than the stated times?

Early or late check-ins may be possible upon prior arrangement and subject to availability. Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to make arrangements. Additional fees may apply.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is at 10:00 AM. Late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability.

How do I check in if I arrive after 9pm?

Guests arriving after 9:00 PM must notify us in advance to arrange a self-check-in option if available.
